-Creating your Song — Pattern Preparation

-Before creating your whole song/beat you need to prepare all your patterns. You can have over 100 patterns mixed into your song, however you’ll probably never use more than 20 or so. Typically, you would want to have your verse on one pattern, your chorus on another, and your intro(optional) on another. If you want to add breaks/silent parts/effects you can add them onto their own pattern as well. You could even go as far as to isolate your kick/snare/hatt or sample to their own patterns but it’s not necessary.

-Highlight the “Song” button as in the second picture, and continue to Using the Playlist….
