-Adding Mixer Effects

-So you got a dope beat going, but it feels like it’s missing something...a reverb...echo...bass boost or something. To add an effect to a single channel or the whole track you’re gonna need the Mixer. Press F9 on your keyboard to bring up the mixer or go to View—Mixer.

-Let’s say you want to add a Reverb effect to your snare. After you open up the mixer(F9) select FX1, and click on the arrow tab next to layer 1. Click on Select to bring up all the different effects you have installed, and choose Fruity Reverb. You now have a Reverb effect on FX Bank #1.

 

-To get the effect on your snare drum, left-click on it to bring up properties. At the top right corner there’s an FX box where u can assign bank numbers of effects you’ve added to the mixer. Select 1 to add your Reverb, press play, and now you’ve got a Reverb on your snare.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-Now what if you want to add a Reverb to the whole beat? Simple, just select Master instead of FX1 when you bring up the mixer(F9).
