-Besides the SimSynth, the BooBass can be used to create a bassline without the need for an external sample. In other words, if you don’t have any good bass samples, then these two modules can be used as substitutes. -To load the BooBass right click on any channel, select Insert channel—BooBass, or Add One—BooBass from the Channels menu. -Once the BooBass is in your sequencer , left click it to open the Channel settings. The 3 band options control the frequency for the sample which affects how it sounds. It works just like a equalizer, where if you lower treble and mid it will act like a low pass filter. Rotate the knobs and test it’s sound until you find something you like. -If you have a midi keyboard you can record your sequence directly into the piano roll. |
